Brudepikene was established by Ann Kristin Nissen and Jeanette Lilleås in 2002. We offer a range of planning and coordination services for couples who want a seamless and memorable wedding experience in Norway. With a name that translates to "Bridesmaids" in Norwegian, Brudepikene reflects the company's dedication to supporting couples throughout the wedding journey, much like a bridesmaid would.
We offer end-to-end planning services, covering every detail from venue selection to the smallest decorative touches. Our expertise is especially valuable for couples who may not live in Norway but dream of a destination wedding in one of the country’s stunning landscapes.
We are known for embracing Norwegian traditions, and we often incorporates local customs and scenic Norwegian elements into our wedding designs, from fjord-side ceremonies to cozy winter weddings set against snowy backdrops.

Meet the wedding planners
Ann Kristin NissenBefore joining Brudepikene, I had many years of experience with various travel agencies, where I organized trips for both small and large groups. I am at my most effective when there’s a lot going on around me; I am creative, reliable, and love my job. I’m always willing to go the extra mile to help you achieve the day of your dreams.
At Brudepikene, I wear many hats as the general manager, creative all-rounder, wedding planner, and I also do my part in our shop. Fate brought me to Drammen, where I settled down and had two wonderful boys who are now grown. I work a lot, but in my free time, I unwind with family, friends, and a little dachshund. I love to travel! Since the pandemic, I have been running Brudepikene on my own.
Jeanette LilleåsI co-founded Brudepikene with Ann Kristin in 2002. I’ve always enjoyed organizing parties and events, and I love when there’s a bit of action involved. I find it exciting to be present and coordinate the wedding day for our clients.
I’m a mother of two grown boys, and I enjoy staying physically active. I spend my free time with close friends, often in the mountains but also traveling both within Norway and abroad.
The pandemic led me to a different job, but I frequently help out at Brudepikene when needed.
